An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough and surface cold front will finally bring some rain to the Pacific Northwest. The precipitation should decrease the intensity of the wildfire smoke which can still push into the Pacific Northwest from various areas depending on the wind direction. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system that’s moving through Oregon. The graphics for days 3-7 Sunday through Thursday show frontal activity Monday and Wednesday through Thursday.
